a fire alarm system in the vicinity of my parents' bedroom holds beep every 30 seconds. goes beep beep twice can not wait, and again every day I have to help replace the battery twice

The battery is just a part will be replaced by a smoke alarm. If it does not rotate, replace the alarm.
